In the development of the new Grantmaking SKY, it would be great to include functionality that helps Grantmaking organisations to fulfil their legal obligations under GDPR directly.
Under GDPR data must not be retained longer than is necessary and (additionally) many organisations have a published data retention policy and schedule. To meet their obligations under the law they need to be able to remove records from the system that are no longer required. This might include bulk removal of Contacts, Requests etc. But also will be old unsubmitted Online Applications.
This is a task that could be assigned to system admins so that there is some protection around the functionality.
Yes please. There should be a simple way of running a query on closed dispensations x months after the request was created. We can view the personal data, but cannot delete it. We understand currently we have to delete every single individual record. If there were thousands this would take weeks to remove. A simple 'admin' user requirement could run and 'delete' personal data in seconds. This is a huge risk.
Very important one! A massive task which needs to be made easier - wish i could vote for this one more than once!
