It would be incredibly helpful if the GIFTS system would allow us to add ad hoc email addresses (ones that are not affiliated with the grant record) when sending out correspondence using the Template Email feature of GIFTS.  Right now the system will only allow us to select individuals affiliated with the grant record. We have a scenario where there are internal organizational points of contact that need to be included on certain emails and the system does not allow for that.

Making these internal organizational POC's affiliations is not a viable solution given that we are talking about many hundreds of email addresses and with staff turnover the workload to maintain them in the contacts or affiliates section of GIFTS is not practical.  Allowing users to type in additional email addresses when sending Template emails would be extremely useful and help to streamline our workflow.
