SKY Basic/Advanced Search - Basic Search pre-populates the Advanced Search String as in Classic

In Classic, you can begin to build a search in basic view (using the easy interface) and then if you need to add an advanced search string, you can click over into Advanced, and add that single advanced search item. In SKY, now, when you click into Advanced, you have to build the entire string from scratch, which is tedious.

To add to this, if you have a dashboard saved that you want to do an additional filter on when you switch from Basic to Advanced, the original filter/search that was used to create the dashboard disappears and you have to re-enter the entire search.

Yes - totally agree. I am not a SQL coder and i find these quite hard to build from scratch and this was always my trick before - start building in basic and then flip into the advanced to build more (Or copy and past that part of the code in onenote to come back to if you are building across record types)

Please bring this back for the non technical user....

    • Please allow advanced searches to begin in the basic Query Builder and then be carried into an advanced search expression, as before.

    • Please can Value buttons return so users don’t need to know codes off by heart?

    • Please can pre-set expressions return for flag buttons etc?

Please also re-add the + button in basic search in SKY View.
