Just like in Classic, we should be able to display 5, 10, 20, 30, 50 or 100 records in the Workspace, and select just the records on the screen or all of the records in the Workspace. We could do this in Classic, we should be able to do it in Sky.
We implemented a slightly different feature a few months ago, that has addressed this need for the majority of users, by allowing both options: select all records visible on the current page (i.e. just 100) vs selecting all records in the total search results (which may be hundreds). For that reason, I'm circling back (much later now) to mark this "shipped". Please feel free to submit another Idea if you have specific feedback on how the product works today. Thank you!
Per Client: This is not helpful if you have 55 records. You must click one at a time to get to 55 (or 60 or 40 etc.) There should be a "SHIFT-CLICK" function to select the first item you want then the last item
I cannot find any notes on how to select all records in the total search results (which may be hundreds). I would love to be able to select all records in a search result, but I cannot find that option. Can you please assist on where to find how to do this.
Much appreciated.
Thanks

Please explain how to select all of the records in the search results. I cant see how to do it.

This solution helped in one way but created new problems. Now, when I want to select all 355 records (for example) in order to add requirements, I cannot, I have to remember individually click every "Select All" on 4 different pages. Ideally there would be a select all by page button AND a genuine select all button.
As a separate issue, choosing between selecting none or 100 can be a big gap. Like when you need the top 35 for example and have to individually select each one or select all and unselect the other 65. That's why people liked the option to choose the display number as posted in the suggestion.
Hi There, although you can batch update the first 500 records, you cannot then select the next 500 records without doing so individually. This is not very helpful and where Classic sky had the pages of 100 records that would be less time consuming to use when updating a batch of 7000 records which i had to do recently. Can you please add the ability to select pages of 500 records?
Thank you for keeping this open. It's an ongoing and intensely time-consuming problem.
Selecting a group of records – we must be able to select a different number rather than just one at a time, all or none. There is only the option to ‘select all’ or ‘clear all’. It should be possible to select a group of records (eg using the Shift key, as in excel and Classic), or to select a page of records (as in Classic).
How do you know which 500 records (or however many) have been actioned? It is not as clear as you can see it in Classic if you are working with a long list of records of over 500!
An important feature as you can only email 100 people at a time, but there is no way to select only 100 from a list currently in Skyview.
To clarify, is there a way to display fewer records in the Workspace? In the Classic Workspace, we could choose in the lower left-hand corner how many records should be visible, i.e., seeing them in groups of 5, 10, 20, 30, 50 or 100. I can’t see how to do that in the Sky Workspace.

Hi all - We have updated SKY View so that you can now take batch actions on up to 500 records at once. If you click "Select all" and more than 500 records are selected, that's ok - the operation will complete for the first 500 records, and you can then repeat for the remaining. (A similar process exists in Classic View today for very large batch operations).
However, I've renamed this Idea slightly and kept it open, to reflect the other part of the original Idea - to allow selecting "The 20 currently visible records", for example. While that's not as common as the problem described above, it's still a valid use case and we understand why that might come up sometimes today! Please feel free to comment here if you have any thoughts on that, and we'll continue to review this alongside some of the other feedback we've received on the search results page.
Thank you again!
This is particularly important when trying to do batch options, because you can only batch edit 100 records, and if you have more than 100 records, you have to hand select 100 records to do the batch, which pretty much defeats the purpose.
