E-mails can get lost or can take longer than it would to trigger a text to come to a phone. More and more companies (Google, Facebook, DiscoverCard) enable mobile notifications for locked out accounts or even add them as a second step to authenticate. As more and more grantees are having issues receiving emails from us - moving to send temporary passwords via text/SMS would be a more efficient, and certainly a quicker way to help our clients' grantees.
