In a Report Column, Client would like Zero Value to be omitted or display as Refund Value
When pulling a Report for Total Payment Amounts for a given year, Client would like value to automatically display "Refund Amount" if there are no Payments given for that said year. This feature is requested to provide a neatly presented report.
After reviewing this Idea, I think it needs a little bit more clarity before we can truly understand the intent. Here are some questions I'd like to ask, for the original idea creator, or anyone else whohas input:
This idea is meant to improve a report that's already in use. What is that report being used for today?
What is the scenario today when the report is insufficient? The idea says "There are no payments given for that said year." Is the report showing that the foundation made no payments that year, or that no payments were made on a particular grant that year?
What does "Refund Amount" signify, for you? Why is this better than showing the total value as $0.00?
