Avoid opening records when trying to click checkboxes in workspace

If you check on the checkbox slightly on the edge of the box or in the surrounding field, it will open the record. I do not always need the record to be opened, and find this tedious.

I agree - this is really time-consuming and frustrating! Would love to see a change.
