In most instances, the setting for Formal Salutation will be Prefix and Last Name. It has become more commonplace for applicants to decline to specify a Prefix, in which case the Formal Salutation defaults to Last Name only - not such a good look. The logic could be refined so that you can configure alternatives if part of the data is missing. For example, if there is no Prefix, the rule would be that the First Name would be used as the Formal Salutation. "Dear Justin" is much better then "Dear Finighan" if "Dear Mr Finighan" is unavailable.
