GO has a wonderful correspondence feature allowing multiple documents to be created in batch.  However, if any edits are necessary to the batch document, the edits are not saved.  To save the edits, one has to save the document locally and then upload the documents to the individual requests/contacts/organizations.  Multiple steps, multiple documents, and time-consuming!  So, it really isn't time-saving to try to use the batch document process.  To maintain the integrity of the grantmaking record, the edits should be saved in GO. 

In 2011-12, the GIFTS classic version allowed batch documents to be edited and saved.  With new technology it is possible to make edits in shared documents on shared work spaces; therefore, it appears logical to me that it should be possible to edit and save to batch documents. 

I'd like to see these features available in GO.
