I access Gifts Online (Blackbaud Grantmaking) via Firefox ESR on a Mac. Sometimes I go through a virtual Windows machine, e.g. if I need to access the Template Manager, which is not available for Mac (ahem). I notice scrolling on the Windows VM with my fingers works fine using my touchpad. Sadly, I must laboriously move the cursor to the rather small scrollbar for every single action that allows scrolling on a Mac. It would help me a LOT if I could use Mac Touchpad to scroll.
Thank you for submitting this idea! I'm closing this idea now as we've made several updates relevant here:
We enabled more browser-agnostic grantmaking last year with a Proxy Server (which you can access by adding ".proxy" between your site ID and ".gogiftsonline.com" in your browser address bar - i.e. siteid.proxy.gogiftsonline.com). This has better support for some devices than the Firefox ESR workaround that you were previously using (although may not have resolved the specific touchpad issue you were encountering).
Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY View is now available, which has broad support for all modern browsers and devices, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, on both Windows and Mac, without needing to access via a proxy server or other "workarounds".
There's still more to come this year in Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY View, including adding a new Document Template Manager that works in the browser, but in the meantime I encourage you and your staff to check it out and see if your typical daily use is improved with the new look and feel and better compatibility for a broad range of browsers.
Thank you for the feedback!
