Email verification is a common practice among many websites, it would be beneficial to have it as a feature in Blackbaud Grantmaking for basic security reasons. It will ensure that the user typed in the correct email (prevents frustration) and it will ensure that each user that signs up has a verified email (prevents abuse/simple bots).
