Often enough, we get queries from applicants falsely claiming that we never contacted them. We can look and find copies of the emails that were sent by looking in the Documents for their Request, but in order to re-send the email we currently have to re-create the original email through the email template and send it again, which gives it a new time stamp. Also, we can't see if there were others cc'd/bcc'd on the original email, etc. I think it would be more convincing if we could "forward" the original email, with the original time stamp, etc. Lately, as a workaround, I've been bcc'ing myself on denial emails sent through GO, so that I at least have a copy that I can forward, should an irate applicant claim that we never let them know what happened to their application. But not everyone in my organization does this, or they don't do it consistently. It would be great to be able to select the document record for an email and click "re-send" from the Ribbon Menu.
