I notice that when there is nothing that needs to be saved in a record, the Save and Close button doesn't work, but it is not clear in the current coloring that it is deactivated - the Save button is grayed out, but Save and Close is not, and it makes it look like something isn't working.
We've made a few small changes to the save buttons and one major one to fix an issue with Organization records that caused these buttons to never "gray out" even after changes were saved. We hop this addresses the feedback here.
However we did note that it was possible this feedback was also meant to call out that the "Save and Close" button, even when it's not active and is a faded blue color, might still stand out more than you expected. The current color scheme has been tested fairly thoroughly, so we're confident this is not causing a widespread issue, but we're still listening - If that's still the case and you still have feedback for us, please let us know with a comment!
