It should not take three steps to change the Primary Contact on a Request record in Sky. Currently it appears we have to search for the Contact name, Add the new Contact name, then Change the Primary Contact on the Request record. That's two steps too many. We should be able to search, add, and associate the new contact to the Request in one operation.

Agreed. Also you should be able to add a new contact from the same tab that you can add a new request or organization.
