SKY: Record pages should only use one scrollbar for the whole page

With the new inner scrolling area, it is impossible to print the entire record. We need this because our financial system is completely separate from BG, and we need to show that payments were approved in the system, which we did with a screenshot of the whole record or printing the whole record. Now, we can't print or capture the entire record. It would be helpful to have a "print view" of records for these types of "outside the system" uses.

    Admin response

This feedback has been built into the newly-designed record page layout in a recent update. The page now also adapts better to your screen size and shape, to zooming in and out in your browser, and to long forms and section lists. The Save and Close buttons are always visible, and the rest of the page all uses one scrollbar for easier scrolling. Let us know what you think, and thank you again for your feedback!

For the specific printing needs mentioned here, changing the record page to use one scrollbar instead of two should address the problem. But, may we also recommend creating an ad-hoc report or a saved view that may solve this need with even less work? If you make a list of the fields that need to be visible in that printout, and add them to a Saved View instead, you might find that you can export that view to an excel file (or to a PDF as part of an ad hoc report) and get one printout/file that has all your payments "printed" at once.

If that's not helpful - my apologies! If it sounds helpful, but you need a bit more "how-to" assistance, please contact our support team so we can help get that taken care of.

Either way - the scroll bar feedback will be addressed very soon!
