We have code tables scattered throughout our request record forms, and previously, they were a drop down list in Classic. Now, if it's a single code, it just has the title of the code with a tiny pencil, which then opens ALL the code tables. This makes it a) easily overlooked, because it doesn't look like a field, and b) is then a pain to select, because you have to wade through all of the code tables. Bring back the dropdowns!!

Thanks for the feedback, all. We will continue to iterate on the look of coding fields. Some recent changes that we made have made them take fewer clicks to edit (especially when editing from the "coding sheet" section) but it sounds like those changes, when applied to an individual code field on the Blueprint form (not in the "coding sheet" section), make that field harder to spot while scrolling. We'll take a look and find a way to address that. We're also still considering how to make it take fewer steps to edit the simpler coding fields that used to be dropdowns, while still maintaining better consistency across SKY view when editing coding fields in general. (I added screenshots to illustrate the issue you described).
I agree with this feedback. The coding layout on Blueprint forms is not ideal as they blend into the background and don't look like fields.
