Hi there
We tried changing the chart type of some charts to improve the layout on sky view for a colleague and we have noticed that using a tooltip in Sky view reacts differently to how they would in classic - and also they react different depending on the chart type you choose to display.
Im attaching quite a few screen shots to talk this one through!
The first screen shot is the chart in classic as a stacked bar, with the 3rd how it shows in Sky - its far too squeezed up and you cant clearly see or click into the different levels. Also when you hovver over a part of the bar - classic will highlight the detail clearly in the label area to the right (image2). In sky when you hovver over the bar, it will show you a single tooltip for the section you are hovvering over. (image 4) This is what I would expect in Sky.
However - if I change this to a stacked horizontal bar... tooltips react differently in sky and displays the whole lot in a list.... and not just the single tooltip i'm hovvering over. it is not clear which one i am hovvering over (image 5) and it just gets in the way.
And again - if we flip this to a standard bar chart - we get a weird display with the 'Approved' side of the chart, displaying 0 statuses which when we hovver over them they are actually Pending statuses, and vice verson on the 'pending' side of the chart - the range of 0 statutes there are showing tooltips for the approved statuses - which is very confusing. Ive put in the image of this chart from classic, and it was probably doing the same thing but when we hovver over this space it isnt trying to display any kind of tooltip.
They just need improving to
a) function and display in the same way, no matter what chart type you choose to display
b) not show anything that isnt actually there
The tool tips need updates on the number format.
