Open record in new window
Please can the option to open records in a new window be built into SKY View? It was really useful when working in multiple areas of the system at the same time.

It's possible to do this today by opening the Workspace page in a new browser tab or browser window. You can do that in different ways in different browsers and devices, but usually one of these will do it:
Control key + left click (Windows)
Right click > "Open in new tab" (Windows)
Apple key + click (Mac)
Middle mouse click (if your mouse has a middle button)
Note that even if you open the Workspace multiple times in separate tabs or windows, you only really have one Workspace. Adding or removing tabs, and reloading the other browser windows, will cause them all to be the same. Also, if your idea was more about being able to start on the search page and open individual records in their own separate browser tabs/windows from there - please reply back with a comment and I'll reopen this, since that's not available today!
But if you just need to be able to have the workspace open next to another page - like the dashboard, or report designer - you can do that easily this way. I hope that helps!

I noticed that i can no longer us the Next button when trying to update the Batch number in batches by selction all payment as i could with Gifts, is it possible to get this functiuonality back as it do save time especially when we ahave done a lot of payment.
Thanks Vin - really good to know. I'd noticed I could duplicate to a new tab and have two instances of SKY open, but was afraid it may cause consistency issues when saving to the database from each session? Have you come across any issues with this?
If this means being able to open multiple records in a single new tab, then yes please add this feature!
