Generating Correspondence changes - revert back

You recently (13th Sept) updated the process when generating correspondence to get notifications when the process begins, when the results are ready and/or warning if error occurs.

This change means that emails do not open in a new window, in order to send the emails we have to click the link in the green notification. if someone doesn't click that link or accidently closes the window then the correspondence doesn't save and will have to be re-run.

There is large potential here for error where a person doesn't realise that this needs to be done or forgets, when emails open up in a new window right away this is impossible to miss.

Can you please revert back to how the process worked previously as I am very concerned about the potential for admin errors. Any process improvement should ensure less possibility of this and not more.

Yes please. I agree with Guest comment from 9/15/22. This is causing confusion. So much so that as an admin, I am going to send correspondence for most things, because the steps are confusing to staff. Also, correspondence isn't saving to the request record documents, unless you check the activity record. I don't believe it used to function that way. We are loosing a lot of information from this functionality.

Per Client: When sending many emails, must now wait for process to complete. Don't want to "do other things" while this happens, I need to finish this process then move onto the next. The process was good the way it was.

Agree with other, an extra unnecessary step has been added to a process that was working.

The new process to generate letters and emails is time consuming, open to error and breaks up a task and requires more clicks to action a task. The previous process was seamless. This is definitely not an improvement and I would be keen to reinstate the previous process.
