This hotkey was part of Gifts, and every time I hit the 'T' key to put in today's date, I got so much joy. St. David, the patron saint of Wales, had a motto: "Gwnewch y pethau bychain mewn bywyd," or "do the little things in life." This hotkey was my little thing.

Without it, I'm forced to manually click through calendars like some kind of medieval scribe navigating through dusty scrolls to find today's date. Meanwhile, 'T' sits there, underutilised, practically begging to fulfil its noble purpose once again.

Reinstating this feature wouldn't just be a time-saver; it would be a gesture of goodwill, a nod to efficiency, and a recognition that sometimes it's the small 'T'ouches that make software delightful.
