Give us a way to communicate generic application messages to our applicants BEFORE THEY OPEN THE APPLICATION

  1. When an applicant starts a new application, they see a program description, then they never see the program description again, unless we repeat it on the first tab of the application form.

  2. On the My Applications screen applicants must click on View Guidelines to see anything about the program/application without actually opening the application. But we can't change that link to say View Guidelines and Program Information, for example.

  3. So, once an application is started, the only non-form information an applicant can see about the application is under View Guidelines, but again we have no way to convey to our applicants that there is anything other than guidelines for them to see. View Guidelines does not inherently convey that we have something to say to them about this grant program.

  4. We need to be able to convey generic information to our applicants about the program in their account and after they start an application. We should not have to do this in our original "invitation" email.

  5. Some kind of "program notes" field or "message to all applicants" field would be nice without forcing them to open the draft application.
