New Forms - Delete button on request record should actually delete the request

As the person tasked with managing our grantmaking software, I am required to do all sorts of tests for our applications, which means creating dozens of request records. Previously, I was able to delete these test requests by clicking the delete button on the request record. Now, the delete button returns the request to "pending submissions" which is both not what delete means and also doesn't provide any utility since there isn't a way to remove/reject/delete from the pending submissions tab.

I currently have 17 test submissions that are compromising data integrity. I even asked colleagues to cancel their applications from their accounts in the hope that I could then delete the submissions, but nothing has worked.

It would have been helpful to know in advance that test forms would remain permanently in the system. This is another example of the lack of communication surrounding the implementation of YourCause.

This is weird. Basic tasks that were working in the legacy system have now stopped working. Not being able to delete test submissions is wrong.

If running stats on programmes we should be able to reflect on this in seconds through dashboards, not have to check if we now have test records included.

I don't know what has happened, but enhancements should provide a more positive experience. The challenges outweigh the benefits!

Being unable to delete is causing various issues within our system especially with test/dummy data. they are sitting in pending and creating confusion - and its just really bad practice. The fact we cannot delete a request record contravenes our data protection policy which states we will not hold records that are not required - this should be urgently rectified to ensure we comply with GDPR.

I am also not able to vote but agree that we need to be able to delete test records as they compromise the integrity of the data held on the system for reporting etc. There is obviously also a GPDR issue as already mentioned

I am unable to vote but also like to request to actually be able to delete request records if require i.e. test records
