Currently, affiliations and its fields (Contact Role field as example) are NOT available in a Request record search/report. However, Affiliations search does include Request fields, which makes no sense. Request searches (and all records) should include Affiliations and its fields. With this new portal, it was recommended we use contact tables instead of our custom text fields for our main contacts, but these are not available in the request record; they are part of the affiliations records. So, we cannot include them in our Request Search nor in our internal Request form that displays all relevant fields for our internal grant management (that should include our main contacts).
