The "WWW" field with its ability to enter an organization's website URL, save it so that it can't be accidentally overwritten, and then produce a clickable link directly in the Organization record is extremely helpful. However, there are more and more use cases of wanting to keep track of an organization or contact's online presence with social media accounts. Currently there is no way to replicate the functionality of the WWW field to add custom fields that make the URL clickable without having to create multiple fields, or have the URL be captured in a text field that could be accidentally altered or overwritten.

I'm proposing that a new Blueprint custom field type for URLs be added that allows unique URLs to be saved and displayed as a clickable link without having to refer the URL to insert other fields containing the portions of the URL specific to the Org/Contact from a text field.
