Not allow submissions where word or character counts are exceeded

We have had submissions with alerts about the character limit being exceeded (255 system limit). Can the applicant be prevented from submitting if it exceeds any system limits to avoid us having to request resubmission?

    This is causing extra work and provides a poor experience for our applicants if we are having to go back and request a revision to their form when they haven't been told there is an issue before they submit

    This is needed and so necessary. It has caused so many headaches for us.
