As a former user of GIFTS Classic, this was a feature that we used to verify the existence of a duplicate request. Now the functionality is no longer available and any duplicate request check has to be managed via additional steps.

In situations where the applicant account and the request owner differ, this feature would be helpful when generating requirements in batch.
