BBGM to remove the punctuation (period) in their Reset Grantee Password template. This extra character causes trouble for those who simply copy and paste.
Honestly, I'd much prefer that Blackbaud scrap the current password reset system implement something more modern. When a user requests a password reset, send a link to the account email with a link to change the password -- no temporary password that has to be entered twice. User clicks the link, enters a new password twice (2nd time is to confirm) and at that point they are logged into their account.
Like Rob Anderson, I am weary of walking people through this unnecessarily convoluted process.
I have to explain this to a grantee at least once every other week and always apologize for the confusion caused by this period and that we can't change it
That is very welcome news, Brenda. Thank you for taking the time to let us know.
With the new applicant/grantee experience we are moving towards a new login to help with password fatigue and streamline the process.
