As of now, there is no capability of attaching any documents from the document tab in Gifts Online to an email.  We send out award emails to our grantees which contains our grant contract as an attachment.  Currently, there are four long steps that have to be done.  When you have a lot of grantees to send these too, the steps below take a lot of time. Generate Letter with all the award letters into one continual word document. From Write-up, create the grant contract for each grantee receiving an award. With the word document  which contains all the award letters open on one screen, we openthe first contract on another screen.  With that contract open, we do File, Share, Email, Send as an Attachment. When that email opens, we go back to the award letters, copy the corresponding letter and paste into the body of the email.  We then go back to Gifts Online and copy the email address for the primary contact. To be able to accomplish attaching documents through generating emails from templates would save tremendous time.
