The only way to update the Request Type in SKY is to select the checkbox on the left, then update the request type by going to Update – Type and Status. There are too many clicks and it should be accessible in the actual Request record.
When viewing a request record in SKY view, you can now click the "Update type and status" action at the top of the page (in the actions tool bar where other actions like Approve and Delete can be found). This works the same way as the Update Type and Status action that has always been available on the search results page when selecting multiple records. Please note that the Request Type field will still be visible as a read-only field on the Blueprint form - that's because editing the Request Type is a rare occurrence that is generally not taken lightly, as it can dramatically change what fields are visible on the form and what status you can select for the Request. This new way of updating the Request Type field should be easy to use when you need it, but won't be something you do on accident and have to worry about undoing - and it's consistent with functionality you already know. Let us know if you have any feedback, and thank you!
