In the new portal we no longer will have the ability to transfer an application from one account to another. We suggest that this function should be reintroduced. If an account is created under an individual user and the individual leaves or if an organization changes email or name, we now have no ability to support but will have to direct grantees directly to Blackbaud. This is a common request from our grantees.
I believe the grantee can do this, within the portal. Ideally this happens before a transition, but each application can add collaborators to their application, who will also have access to the application. I cannot recall if this is currently in production, but if not it is coming.
This is a great idea. We work with organizations who can have a high degree of turnover so this would be helpful in the event individuals leave.
Completely agree, it's a common request, and especially as grantees get used to the new portal, many of them will not add other applicants to their forms to avoid this predicament. They will only realize after it's too late. Bring it back.
